On the matter of taking legal action, I'd have to devote my retirement to taking wrong doers to court. There are just TOO many of them now. And no, I won't get into the collapse of our society in this post you'll be glad to hear.
They are looking into it. The only inclusion is the Tow button which does work. There is no wiring despite what some people think

Well I've had both Action Car and Truck and Hyundai Service confirm this to be true. Not sure why some people dispute this unless some cars have and some don't. I really doubt that Hyundai is THAT bad....
I have checked different publication and sites and even the Hyundai Palisade broucher and tha all say that it is pre wired.
Yet there seems to be a lot of confusion about whether the 2023 Hyundai Palisades are pre wired or not. some say yes and the connector is maybe located in the bumper, other say it is located on the wire harness like in other years and then there are people who say it is not pre wired. All I know it isn't located where it has previously been located and I can’t get an official answer as to where it is. I do not want to have this site to become an emotional sounding board but I think Hyundai is THAT bad for not getting the word out as to whether there is a connector or not and if there is one where is it located.

It is not there!!!!!

Yes, Hyundai is that bad at communicating stuff internally. But I seriously doubt that the 2023 are not pre-wired. They very likely are and they didn’t document any of the changes.

Now is one of you going to go look behind your rear passenger wheel?

I looked behind the passenger wheel this morning. Nothing there. Just open space. There is a plug attached to the back side of bumper about midway. That could be it. It is not like the previous plug though. It is a different shape so the old harness will not plug into it. Only Hyundai knows for sure. I have a service scheduled for Nov 2. They are supposed to show me the wiring plug when it is in there. I guess I also need to have them show me the extra transmission cooling also.

Tekonsha 119250/119252. No cutting or splicing. Uses sensors to get signal. Works perfectly. Gives you the option to change out later if you want. I only needed 4 pin plug
I am having the same issue here!! I can’t believe they advertise it and has no wires!! We just bought a Calligraphy a week ago to be able to tow an RV!
I will look into the passenger side like someone said but is this option Tekonsha also for the brakes or how do you do it? I found a pkug for a break controller inside the fuse box but if no connection on the rear end then 😭 I am trying to get answers from my dealership. Will let you all know if I get any. In the mean time I need a solution to be able to tow.

I am in the same situation.
just got the car on 10/14 and was planning to start towing my camper but no luck finding the connector under the bumper driver side.
The connector in the middle of the bumper is for sure different and has a bunch of wires… not sure why you’d need this for towing.

The clip on Tekonsha is great but it is 4 pin only, ie no trailer brakes…

Let me know if you find a way to get a 7 way connector installed

If the connector on the bumper is the prewire like the connector on the 22s then it will have all the wiring you need for a 7way. And it will be wired into the plug under the dash that is where the brake controller will plug in. They just need to get the harness ready. The harness will have a plug on one end that connects to the one behind the bumpre and the 7pin rv plug (or a 4 pin flat) on the other end. That is the way it worked previous years. And hopefully how it works on the 23s once they get their act together.

And yes it is terrible that they are advertising this car as ready to tow 5000 lbs when it is not. You could accuse them of false advertising.

The 7 pin harness is availble, atleast in Canada. I just installed it. The pre-wired harness isn't where you think it would be. You have to remove the trunk tray, then loosen a side luggage panel, and it's tucked under there. Looks the same as other years, just in a way different spot. The kit also comes with a brake controller harness for the dash.

The pre wired harness is the little white thing in the top right of the pic. Located tucked under that panel. No wonder no one can find it. The control module the kit comes with is on the left.

And did you just take out the screws under the covers to remove it, or is there some kind of trick?
Once you take the screws out you have to use a touch of force to get it up as there are still retention clips holding it. Just use the cover and pull up on it and it will pop out.
Here’s the part number

It looks the wires plug into the module. Is that how you were able to fish them through the grommet? Even though the older ones may work because of how they are made you would have to leave the module out in the old place and just fish the plug up into the compartment. That is assuming they did not do something different in the module for the 23.

The older wiring harnesses won't work because the plug is different. The one on the 2023 looks like the pic below.

And here's the one for previous models. They aren't compatible.

What dealer did you get the part from. Not sure I can get it in the USA and may have to order from them and have shipped. Bummer
O'Regan's Hyundai in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. I just called the parts department and asked for a 7 pin harness for the 2023 Palisade. I didn't even know what the part number was until I picked up the part. I'm very surprised Hyundai Canada would have it and Hyundai USA wouldn't. Doesn't make much sense.
