Has anyone from the US ordered the harness part from Canada yet?

Yes I did order about a week ago. The part has been shipped and is on the way.

so far, they charged me a total of $185 US where up front cost was supposed to be 254 (85$ shipping).
Not sure if the 85 is max shipping cost and they only apply you the actual or if there is a money conversion factor or both…

I’ll update if they charging me more.

I received the box, it took 1.5 weeks and they charged 185 US dollars total.
I guess the 85$ shipping is their worst case scenario, only charged 16$ for me.

I’ll install it today !

The hitch is the eTrailer one, not factory.

I did not go through the brake controller installation yet, but the manual seems clear.
I will do this soon.

So the installation of the harness was like CanadianBacon showed. Took out that trunk compartment and installed in their. Have you checked the plug to make sure things are working? Thank you for the pics and info.

I installed the brake controller too and easy as well.

I towed my camper with the setup and no issues.

Who did you order from. The couple dealerships with online parts ordering don't show the option to ship to USA. I need to get this part ordered ASAP so I can do my hitch install. Would really appreciate any help.

It is just the wire harness. I am going to use a Curt Echo brake controller, but I believe there is wiring under the dash that you can tap into for a hard wired one.

Here is where I am in the Pali 23 hitch saga...
Got a uHaul branded curt CMF13427 or C13427 for $230.
Tried installing it but my pali frame on the passenger side has a weld inside screw hole... so going to the dealership for them to fix this.

Looked under the cargo area, I did not see any connectors,

but did see the connector under/in the bumper

The one under the bumper is not the one you want. In the third picture, see the wire going through the rubber grommet at the top? Feel around up and around that wire. You will find the connector. There is not a lot of slack to pull it out. But the harness is designed to connect to it right after coming through the grommet. And then the wire feeds over to where you install the control box.

Where did you get the piece to hold the plug. Don't see that at etrailer or am I just missing it.

I sent eTrailer.com a message asking when they might have the hitch that fits in behind the bumper on a 2023 Palisade.

This was their response: We are still waiting on the hitch and wiring fits for the 23’ Palisade to be released. Hopefully will get them before October but I do not know for sure.
