My wife’s Palisade morphed into a GV70

I took my wife’s 2020 Palisade Limited in for the 12 month complimentary service. Now the wife loved the Palisade content and features, but didn’t love the size of the Palisade. While I was waiting for the service I saw a few GV70’s on the lot. The dealer offered a huge trade value on the Palisade (only $900 less than I paid for it 12 months and 9000 miles ago)
The wife showed up and fell in love with a 2.5T Prestige Sport. The deal was at MSRP.
She loves the size, the features and the zip of the 2.5T. I love not hearing about how the Palisade lumbers about.
We are now a 2 Genesis family as I drive the Genesis 5.0.
I am thrilled with the trade value and she is thrilled with the GV70.
I don’t miss the smell of garlic or the wind noise.
Sorry to leave the forum but we are moving to the Genesis forum.

You hit the nail on the head. The Palisade ticks boxes for features, but just isn't that fun of a vehicle to drive. It's pretty sad when the Chrysler Pacifica we own is more fun to drive than the Palisade. And add to that the odor problems (if you have them) and it becomes a deal breaker. So thankful for the high resale value at present, or I would have never traded. I ended up buying an Audi e-tron, full electric, and absolutely love it. Easily the best vehicle I've ever owned. Only cost a few thousand more once one factors in all discounts.
