Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. When I was looking at all the color options, I felt it helpful to see them, not only in person but at different times of the day as the colors seemed to slightly change depending on the light.

 

I had the Moonlight Cloud. It looked like 2 different colors, black and blue, depending on the light. I liked that about it.

 

I have Moonlight cloud, it looks black most of the time.

 

In contrast, depending on the lighting, the Steel Graphite can look navy blue or charcoal gray.

 

Those were the two colors I considered when buying my Palisade. Both look nice, and I could have gone with either. But the blue Limited was sold prior to my arrival (they kept that vehicle on their website for months just to lure people in) so I ended up getting the Steel Graphite.

In anything other than bright sunlight the blue/gray/green colors of the Palisade look so similar it can be difficult to distinguish them by sight. When I test drove the Palisade it was a cloudy day, and the salesman and I had to look at the window sticker to know for sure which color vehicle we were looking at, because we just couldn't tell as they all looked the same.

I finally decided to go for the Steel graphite just because I think it provides a good canvas if I decide to wrap some parts of the car later. I've seen some nice pictures of what others did to theirs on this forum.

 

My personal choice was steel graphite. I’m just a fan of gray vehicles, sadly, both the Moonlight Cloud and Steel Graphite both look black in certain lighting.
