Limited/Calligraphy Seats on Palisade softer than Telluride SX?

I rented the 2022 Palisade Limited last week and the Telluride SX today aside from the major interior aesthetic differences, my wife very much noticed the seats on the Telluride were significantly more stiff than the ones on the Palisade which are more plush and softer. Pretty surprised given I thought they were basically exactly the same and haven't heard of any differences in the online reviews. I think more than anything they're more contoured for back support hence the perceived stiffness. Has anyone else noticed the difference or is it just us? I assume many of you have tried both so hoping you can provide some feedback. Thanks!

I don’t recall the seat feel being any noticeably different between the Telluride and the Palisade when I was vehicle shopping last year. Definitely preferred the stitching and design of the Palisade seats more…but that’s subjective.
Hyundai and Kia are shooting for more of a European vehicle feel which includes a slightly stiffer seat feel. Definitely nowhere near as stiff as pre 1980’ Mercedes, which to me feel like an unforgiving hardwood church pew. I actually found the cloth Palisade seats to be the most comfortable, however I wanted the features that came with the leather seat models.
