Key fob failed to unlock

So today I had my first panic moment with my 2022 Palisade (Essential trim) when it failed to unlock.. I vaguely recalled reading something about using the key to manually unlock which.. after some frustration worked. Setting off the car alarm creating panic #2.
After settling down, and in the car the remote lock/unlock seemed to work and when I got home, with windows open (just in case) everything seems to work as it should. BUT, now I am worried this may happen again.
My key fob has the attached key, needed to start the car (cheap trim level). I am assuming the battery may be weak (fingers crossed). Anyone with a link on how to open the key fob for the “key” version? Any video/instructions seem to deal with the keyless models. The manual even has one diagram of screws that need removing. Then, there seems to be various processes to re-calibrate once the battery has been replaced.. All very confusing
If, it’s not the battery.. this a warranty item? 15 months 28,000 km.
Any thoughts.. suggestion.. similar experiences
Cheers from Edmonton

I have the SEL and there is a key in the fob that I have never used. I did try the key one time and it is a real PITA to use.
In your Hyundai app, there is a section to check the fob battery, but it is an OK or not OK reading. I would think if the battery is low, one would have to be closer to the car for it to work, but not sure about that either. Change the battery and see what happens, batteries are cheap. There are a few reasons the fob would not work because of interference, possibly you ran into one of them at the time.
I don’t have a Hyundai App, don’t think they make one for the essential trim. And with this trim, I need to use the key that flips out of the key fob to start/stop the vehicle. I will change the battery, and carry the spare for a while as well.
EDIT: Finally found a video showing how to change the battery in the key fob that is NOT key less.
