HomeLink issue

I am unsure if others are having the same issue with their HomeLink. I have the 2020 Palisade Limited and somedays the homelink won't work at all, I keep pushing the button but it won't go Red and stays on solid green. After going for a drive and coming back, surprisingly it is working. This happened multiple times and I didn't find any solution to this problem. Any idea what I can do?

You could try resetting homelink to defaults and training it again.

I had issue with inconsistent homelink operation (not with the Palisade) but the problem was the garage opener antenna and possible interference or dead spots. The garage opener usually has a small wire hanging from the back which is the antenna. I spliced it and connected another long wire that I stretched out and left hanging near the door. I can now open the garage door before I even turn on my street!

Thanks man. I have had this issue with everyone one of my cars. I'll try running wire like you did. It makes sense.

With many newer garage door openers you need to start with the remote when programming HomeLink but then go to the actual opener and push the learn button. I am assuming you have done all that.

My recommendation is to call HomeLink support. It's possible that your garage opener requires a repeater and they can provide one.
