Can anyone provide links to the official hidden hitch and 7 pin harness from Canada? I also agree with the request for pictures if anyone has it installed. Would love to see it. I've been periodically checking back in and that's the first time I've read that the hitch was available anywhere. Maybe I misunderstood the comment above but that would be awesome if that's now available to order. My dealer in NC said that Hyundai has no production ETA on when hitches will be available. Seems silly. Thanks.
My hitch was installed at the dealership in Tennessee. The hitch was purchased from etrailer.com. They have three to choose from.

Thanks for the info on the official 7 pin harness:

I'm guessing I misunderstood the hitch comment earlier and that noone is ordering an officially compatible hidden hitch from Canada or anywhere. If that's not correct can someone post the link to official hitch?

Thanks for the additional info from etrailer for the "drop-down" removable/hidden hitch options. I don't recall those being available last time I checked. Ideally I would like to find a 2" receiver that hides behind the 2023 removable panel and doesn't effect ground clearance when in use. Fingers crossed but not holding my breath.

Thanks again everyone. So glad I found this forum.

I have not seen anyone post a picture of the "hidden hitch" from Canada. I have heard it is available there but due to size and weight they will not ship it across international borders. I have zero plans to be in a situation that a reduction of 2 1/2" of ride height would hinder my life, so I got the Curt, and am just waiting on the harness from Canada.

I've been reading all of the threads here and I myself am waiting for my trailer harness to come in from Canada. I reached out earlier this week and they said at the end of March they should be in. I am number 10 on the list and they have about 300 (and counting) on back order waiting.

I installed eTrailer hitch #E95ZR on my 2023 Hyundai Palisade SEL over the weekend and it went smoothly. The hitch is well made, instructions were easy to follow, and all of the parts fit. I am very pleased with the results. I plan to tow a 17' Casita travel trailer with it. I have ordered the 7-pin wiring harness #S8F67AC800 from Hyundai Parts Pro in Thornhill, Ontario and I expect delivery in a few weeks.

Has anyone installed a "plug and play" brake controller that they recommend? It is my understanding that the connection is behind the fuse panel door on the driver's side. The Casita is a single axel trailer, and I would prefer a proportional controller. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I too had an etrailer hitch put on. You need to install a four pin harness and then the seven pin. We added a Curt sway control to pull our 2013 Casita that was previously pulled with a 2013 Toyota Highlander with a weight distribution. No weight distribution with our 2023 Hyundai Palisade AWD. We are 100 miles into a 1400 mile trip and we are doing great! No porpoising and tracking great with bouts of twenty or so side and headwinds.

I think they said something like 900...
I just ordered mine, had to call to verify my vin # ,talked with the parts guy, and he said that they should be here by middle to end of April. Said that there were some people that had ordered in January that were still waiting. Hopefully they are right and only have to wait a few weeks. Also said they were getting around 600 in the first order and more were coming after that.

I am sharing an update on my brake controller. I decided to go with the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty electric brake controller #EBRH-ACCNA. With the universal pigtail #TPH-025, total cost from eTrailers was $185. The brake controller can be mounted in any orientation and hidden under the dash. The only visible part is the dash knob which I plan to mount on the fuse panel door rather than drilling into the dash itself. I am still waiting to receive my wiring harness before I can install the brake controller as it comes with the pigtail that plugs into the vehicle wiring under the dash. I have some camping trips planned for April, so I hope to get everything squared away before then.

Test lane assist. When I use it I noticed a slight swaying in the trailer because I kept fighting with the steering wheel. My solution was to turn it off

S8F67AC800 . Just a caution. Do not order this harness until you are sure that you have the cable under the cargo floor. My Pailsade Cali 2023 built December of 2022 did not have this harnes tucked under where some have said it was. I went as far as taking the side panel off (pain in the A**) because i thought well maybe it was out of my hand reach. But no the connector was not there. Back to the drawing board.
if the connector is not there then you do not have any of the wiring necessary for towing. I would definitely be complaining about that since they are all supposed to have the extra transmission cooling and prewiring. They have left off one of the main features they advertise.

I called Hyundai USA and they ran my vin # on my 2023 SEL palisade, and there's no re calls on it.My production date is 11 of 2022 .He said that the recall was for 21-22 ,he didn't give me any production dates, just that my vehicle was not in the recall. You can go from a 7 pin to 4 but not from 4 to7 this is what I was told from e trailer and u haul.
You can call but the wait is long .
