Finally got wireless Android Auto to work with my Samsung Galaxy S10+. Snake the USB extension cord through the hole at the top of the charging pad and connect the adapter. Pair the adapter with Bluetooth. That's it. The car comes on and the maps/music/media are on the screen with no hard wire.

Not at all since it's in the wireless charging tray.

I finally found one today and ordered it, should arrive by next Monday. Question-will this drain the battery when this stays plugged in, once the car is shut off? I often don't move my car for 5-6 days at a time, so I wanted to make sure this can stay plugged in.

The light on the unit does stay on, but I cant imagine it killing the battery. If it sites that ling, just unplug the USB cord in the center console.
