This has to be one of the weirdest ads I've ever seen for a car, but some of the most 'unique' ones certainly seem to come from Asia. Apparently these guys are from a Korean banned called BTS and they just say Palisade repeatedly for 15 seconds lol.

Wow... I understand this whole ASMR thing being trendy but Hyundai took it too far. Done with a Prius, Kia Soul, or something along those lines might be okay but, something tells me there's a deep disconnect here. The Palisade is utilitarian... I want to know more about that...

I would like to see Hyundai partner up with social media influencers as that's more relatable to the everyday person in many cases. It might be smaller groups, but more targeted and actually make more sense than what we're seeing here.

Found out that BTS are the global brand ambassadors for the Palisade and that's why were seeing this kind of material. Wont do much for sales outside its home market, but I expect they have a lot of influence in Korea.

BTS is one of the biggest music acts on the planet it makes sense for Hyundai to get involved. They're are just as important to the South Korean economy as Hyundai and Samsung.

Add in merchandising ($130 million worth of books, T-shirts, cosmetics, jewelry, dolls and other branded memorabilia — eBay Korea currently features 40,000 BTS-related products — sold every year), tourism dollars and other revenue generators, the BTS ecosystem is so enormous, it accounts for $4.65 billion of South Korea's GDP. That's enough to put it in the same league as Samsung and Hyundai.
