Ever since I upgraded the nav software a couple of weeks, my phone buttons (to start a call and to end a call) don't work. Does anyone know why or how to fix? I'm posting android auto with my Samsung galaxy S20 phone.

This seems to be a known issue with AA. I am experiencing the same issue. I have the latest software and app. Hopefully Google fixes it soon. Unless anyone has a solution?

I don't think they work with apple carplay either. I think they only work if the phone is connected via bluetooth only.

Correct the button is useless with either AA or Carplay as I have had both in my Palisade.

One press is Hyundai's own system. Two press of the button is Android Auto. At least that's on my 23 Palisade.

Yes. And it did nothing

When I pressed the phone button and held it, the car called the last number that had been called or called me phone. I really appreciate your help. Any other suggestions?

On my 21 it's short press for stock and press and hold for AA... I may be wrong but I think there is a setting somewhere to control what pressing the button does...

On mine 2022 (cheap trim level) the bottom two buttons just answer or hang up a call. Same as physically pushing buttons on the screen to accept or end a call. To make a call I need the top left button to ask SIRI. Never tried a long push or hold. I "think" it also requires my iphone to be connected to CarPlay for SIRI to be working. On the few occasions when my phone does not automatically connect.. I think via bluetooth I have different options to make/receive calls.

This is true for the Voice Recognition button, but apparently not for the Phone button. I think you guys are talking about two different buttons.

Good point. I have been talking about the voice recognition button. Not the phone button.
On my 23 Palisade. 2 press is Android Auto. It doesn't matter if my display is on AA or Radio, etc.
