I have a 2020 Palisade SEL AWD. I’ve had it since July 2019 and just took it in for my 15K maintenance. So far, the only issue is the wind noise, which isn’t terrible, but shouldn't be happening. I did the recall on the airbag screw cover thing and they checked the wiring harness recall, but mine wasn’t affected. Overall I love the car. One question I have about the steering column, was this a problem that started small and grew? I have recently noticed a slight squeaking noise when I turn the wheel at low speed. Wondering if this could be the start of something bigger.

Hi, just found this forum and saw people posting about noise issues and though I'd post mine as well in case someone else has the same problem. I have an AWD Limited 2020 model. Just recently, maybe in the last couple of weeks, whenever I hit ~63/65 mph, it starts to sound something like...

you're had your car for well over a year and the wind noise can be fixed. amazing hyundai hasn't figured it out, but we owners have. It's easy. Do it yourself and you'll enjoy your Palisade more than you can with an irritating wind noise.
So I have my Palisade about 6 months and have 7500 miles on it. I brought it into the dealer today for the first oil change and casually mentioned to the service rep that I started hearing a grinding noise when I turn the steering wheel. He proceeded to tell me that it needs a new steering column and the replace at least a half dozen so far. He then told me this model car is a cash cow for the dealerships, that on average they are making $10k in recalls, TSB’s and known issues per vehicle. I’m at the point I truly regret buying the car between the wind noise, steering column, rear a/c, and other electronics not working as it should. I already started the process to lemon law it.
Well more crappy update. Steering columns are now back ordered till end of November! So apparently seems like bad steering columns are going bad all across. They still don’t know what is going on with transmission.
They replaced my steering column per the tsb and it seems to be better now. Although they scratched the top of the wheel in the process so trying to get that fixed. The new issue I’m having is a weird hydraulic grinding pitchy sound coming from the rear right side when I come to a full stop and resume. Too many issues.

We are leasing a 2021 Palisade. The steering wheel jerked on me once and one my wife few times in the last week.
The car is in service today with a mini car as replacement. Does not look good. DId anybody had the steering wheel column replaced? is the new one working properly?
HI, requesting clarification, please. When you say you've had 4 or 5 in steering columns are you the owner of a Palisade and have had it replaced 4 or 5 times or are you a dealer and have had 4 or 5 customers with this issue? TIA
I have 2020 Palisade Limited. I also have a 2018 Ioniq plug in. Both have this steering issue. Ioniq started doing it months ago and I lived with it, but then palisade started a week ago (only 9k miles). Told all on back order. Will be doing 1,500k road trip to florida and back in December, so hope they have it by then, concerned about safety on a long journey like that.
Does anybody know if Hyundai has fixed the issue with the new parts, or are these parts going to end up having the same issue in X amount of miles?
