Opening up this thread to any conversations on upcoming info for dealer inventory, first shipments from Korea, special orders, etc.

So I’ll start...I called my local dealer in NorCal and they didn’t have any info except in May/June they would get info on inventory and training for the Palisade. Based off the telluride forums and how many special orders are being placed the palisade may be a hot item once it’s launched!

Its common for dealers to have demo's from corporate for a short period of time. Well before consumers allocations. If you're eager to see one in person and get seat time, I would suggest pressing your dealer for an answer.

I've test driven the Palisade Premium and would like to purchase, however could not agree to terms with dealer since they are attempting to sell for MSRP + Tax Title Dealer Fee. It looks like more SE and SEL versions are making their way to dealership, however trying to determine when inventory levels will increase for Premium version. Does everyone think by December 2019 supply will level off at Hyundai dealers? Thanks.

That’s a good offer! I would take MSRP on a limited, as those are harder to find and dealers are charging $5-10K more than MSRP. But that’s for California, if you are looking at the premium model are you in Canada?

SE’s and SEL’s are more plentiful in supply, limited are the “unicorns” at the moment and drive a higher price

I'm in the Southeast US. I understand where you're coming from but I'd rather wait until November/December 2019 for any year-end incentives or when inventory levels increase on the Premium.

If I was in the predicament that I needed a new car right now I would have no issue with paying the current MSRP @ $45,795, however we can wait for a more reasonable price and get the color/interior option we're interested in.

If you search the internet for news of the their domestic demand on Palisade that people place order now will have to wait 9 months to take their delivery back in South Korea. I would not count on Hyundai to provide any incentive to move the sales of Palisade here in U.S. other than some small special rebates plus some financing rebate if there is any. Basically for 2020 model, $2000 off is probably the max to wish. And 2021 model they will certainly hike the MSRP on limited trim by throwing in some small things.

If you are offered a limited trim at MSRP with Beige interior, it is a good price regardless where you are in the country. If it is AWD, out state folks probably will pay shipping to get it.
