Software update for 2020-22 Palisades without navigation out today - Oct. 24, 2022
A software update for 2020-22 Palisades without navigation was released today. The only documented change is:
"Fixed the connection pop-up that occurs after updating to iOS 14"
This has to do with wireless Apple CarPlay. But maybe there are others undocumented changes, who knows?

Nav unit update has been pushed to the 26th as of now..
Worked perfectly for me.. a couple of hours ago. ~12 minutes from start to finish.
2020 Limited owner here, logged into the app and the October '22 update for nav vehicles is available. downloaded already and moving to USB now.

I am currently updating our 23 palisade. Is the media for 2022 tucson same or do I download a copy for 22 tucson.

People, this thread is for Palisades WITHOUT nav. Try to stick to the correct thread.
I tried the new update on my 2020 palisade without nav and it wouldn't work. display said no media files on usb so it wouldn't update. I tried 2 usb sticks and put the 2 files on the root of the drive, also in the LX2 folder on the root of the drive and nothing worked

Ha, my thought exactly. It took forever, and after sitting in the car for an hour, I called the spouse and just said....let's go grab a Pizza while this thing does what it wants to. After driving, actually driving, not just idling the screen reported that it WILL update even if the engine is shut off, didn't say that earlier. Just went to the car, and the update finished overnight, but it did NOT do it in the hour I sat Idling nor the half hour we drove and waited for the pizza to get ready. I think I mentioned it previously, I think mine may have been because my car had been sitting for a few days and the Battery needed to be amped up by driving it, and once it hit a safe Voltage, it allowed it to finish. Just sucks driving with no radio, or anything....hey, modern car problems, I guess.I'm going to run out of gas waiting on this update.
