While I don't have experience with those seat covers, I have in the past used other universal ones as well as properly fitting ones. Never will I ever consider universal seat covers again in my life.

That bad, eh.... Was it because they looked screwy or hard to keep in place?

It's like the difference between wearing a fitted suit and a burlap sack.

And then because they're loose and sliding around, they start to wear in weird ways.

Any updates? I bought 2 sets of universal seat covers off Amazon and I will have to return them.
