I have an old IPOD that worked fine in my Ford Explorer, but not in the Palisade. MEDIA does not even acknowledge something is plugged into the USB slot. I copied the songs over to a thumb drive and the screen said it does not recognize the file format MPEG4
Could do that. It would be a lot easier if the IPOD would just play through the car's audio like just about every car I've ever owned over the past 10 or so years. Almost makes me want my Ford Explorer back
Wait, your earlier post complained about having to choose between flash drive or phone, but you wouldn’t mind choosing iPod over phone? Bit of a contradiction, don’t you think?
That's totally up to you, but you can't complain that a flash drive is going to use up the USB port if you were willing to have an iPod connected to it.
