I think you need to be in or close to major cities to get the weather. At least that's what I've seen on my Ultimate.
No HD Weather Info
I have been experiencing a NO HD radio info for the weather app. It worked fine at the dealer which was in Nashville (bigger city). It's nice to see the 5 day forecast and doppler radar without using your phone. Just wanted to know if anyone else is having issues. I am only 45mi from Nashville so not sure if that is an issue.

You have to be in range of an FM HD Radio station that is broadcasting the weather data to be able to display it on the Palisade...I thought that I would be out of luck as I live in a rural area outside of Las Vegas, NV, but we do have one station that does broadcast the weather data on their HD stream, and it does work for me.
