Hello Pali-Peeepsss! I am GLAD to be a part of this Forum. I had purchased a White with the Blackout Package, Beige Interior AWD a few days ago. I now have 3 White SUV/CUV's 🤗

I have always been a Forum junkie, so it's been really good soaking up the info here. Seeing things that I of course wouldn't have thought to be a thing, to things that are great about the vehicle! Thanks to here, I ordered LED BULBS for the License plate & Reverse Lights before even receiving the Vehicle! Hahaha

Congrats!!
Sweet ride!
When I got my Limited, that was my first upgrade...LED's bulbs too.
I hope when I pick up my new Calligraphy this week, it comes with.

First off congrats on your new ride my fellow SoCal native. question was that a dealer thing for the blackout option ? Looks nice just wondering didn't see that when you build online ?

It was a dealer thing. It is an extra $5k. To my knowledge, there are only 2 in the Country, & both were in L.A. The other has Black Interior...

It doesn't come with the LED's which is why I ordered some before even getting it from shipping.

Thanks to this forum, I knew that ahead of time!..

Ironically, that's almost the exact Color of our tags in Tennessee (that's where I am) 😕 So yeah,,,,, great point on that! Hahaha

Thank You Deborah! & here's the link for the Reverse Bulbs. The license plate ones, I already have (w5w size) but it looks like some used these in the link as well for the Plate bulbs...

I'm not a fan of the current blacked out fad. I have a stock white 23 Calligraphy with a black interior and would not take the blacked out version if you discounted it $5,000. It makes it look like a taxi cab or fleet vehicle. It's surprising what marketing will get us to buy. But... To each his own.
I Hope they didn't just wrap the satin chrome or you're going to end up with a satin chrome Calligraphy in 5-7 years (or paying to have it all rewrapped).

That saying is very true. (To each his own)

My wife wouldn't let me get the Standard White with Satin Chrome finish if it were discounted $5,000, & she & I most certainly did not want the Black Interior.

Thankfully though, that is why there are always choices to everything so that people can get what they personally like. 😊

I try not to do the "personally" thing much just because of the fact, people will, & SHOULD choose what they like...

Do you get the LEDs through the dealer? Dealer installed? Anyone know when trailer hitches will be allowed again? Need for my bike rack!

They don't come with LEDs in those 2 places.

I am not knowledgeable about the Trailer hitch...

If it's a dealer thing, any dealer could do the same thing, or any individual as well.

Do you know if it is painted, wrapped, plasti-dipped? These might determine how long the trim stays looking good.

It's Painted. Definitely not Plasti-dip. I actually do a bit of hobby/side jobs with Plasti-dip. It's not a wrap either...

If it was vinyl you should probably be able to see the underside of the front and rear bumpers.

Quite impressive they painted all of those pieces. (I supposed it is justified by the price.)

I have a white XRT (it needs the door trim to be black to match), otherwise I like the white door handles and the unique lower trim pieces on the XRT better.

I can't help thinking Subaru Outback every time I see that XRT lower trim and the black wheel arches (although the Subaru has even surpassed their ugly factor with those weird wheel arches). But that's just me!
