I love the Palisade, but the fact that the switches for the interior lights are not lighted really bothers me. We have found ourselves poking around at the ceiling trying to find the correct light switch. Here is what I did to improve the situation. I purchased a set of these domed glow in the dark stickers and placed them on the switches: Domed Sitckers.
These have just enough glow to be seen in the dark and since they are domed (raised), you can feel them and that helps recognize them as well.

Agreed. Any why doesn't the light over the third row light up when a door is open. Kids have to climb in there with no light.

I purchased a Sierra Burgundy model recently with black interior and lack of interior lighting is a ding on Hyundai. However, I found below that just might be the solution for the third-row lighting.

We purchased the same color combination and the kids can't see well enough to buckle their seat belts, even when there is moderate light outside. Did you try the magnetic USB light you posted? I'm wondering if the magnet is strong enough to hold the light despite the headliner. One reviewer on Amazon mentioned he used Velcro instead, but I'd like to avoid sticking anything to the headliner material.

Are the roof console buttons not lighted even on Calligraphy models???
No, they do not light up. Now if they just linked cargo light to come on when doors open or switch there would be enough light for 3rd-row seats.
