Perform full format using exfat and if still doesn't work reset your car infotainment if still not working take it to the dealer.
Are you downloading for Palisade based on your model year? Are you leaving the drive plugged in?

I recommend that you keep it simple. Just let the software from you computer or MAC do the formatting. After it downloads, it asks you where you want to install then install allow the software to format the thumb drive. I think there is an option to download directly to the thumb drive but would not recommend it, since it is 35GB of data and may take time due to your internet speeds.

Server error usually not related to update. It happens some times. Check back tomorrow.

Well if you like tubes on the radio... DO NOT DO THIS UPGRADE....... This is the new update display for the radio and it SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!! Itty Bitty small area to see Artist and Song name.. three quarters of the screen taken up by channel info Same as in 2020 Sonata I used to own. Total Failure................ View attachment 7697

The update site shows several examples of the radio interface, so it shouldn’t be a surprise. Plus it’s very similar to the update from April 2022, so information has been out there for well over six months.

Remember that it is significantly more useful than the versions from November 2020 through November 2021 that had the Nixie tubes. If you actually use the radio, you can finally customize the order of your presets again and you can have more of them.

I just did the update on my 2023 Palisade and my radio tubes are gone now and also my map and navigation won't load. On the home screen the map doesn't show. On the radio split screen the map doesn't show. When I hit the MAP or NAV hard buttons it does nothing. When I hit the star button on the steering wheel which I have set to show the map, it does nothing. Not sure what to do now, maybe try the reset button or take it to the dealer.

Thanks for the advice. I wound up letting it sit and when I turned it back on I changed profiles and then everything was working after that. Not sure what fixed it but it seems to be good to go now.

Just updated my 2020 Palisade and I have only briefly examined the changes. I was very pleased to see that you can reorder your presets just like I was able to do on the original software.

Just finished my update, thanks for the detailed instructions. One new/old feature, you can reorder your radio stations. My heads-up display is not as detailed. Is their away to adjust content?
