Hmmmmmm. I'll give that a try and post my findings. Have you noticed, does it mess up your side view mirror settings as well? My mirrors seem to move all over the place! I did some research and found that you have to have the mirror adjustment tab centered or each time you go into (R)everse, (with the tab on L or R) the mirrors will lower.....kind of a cool feature, but mine didn't really reset to my programmed driving position when I went back into (D)rive. I'm not sure if that's even related, but I assume the mirror settings are linked to the seat 1 or 2 settings.
This is our first Hyundai so.....maybe this is normal. It just seems pretty counter-intuitive.
I have never noticed that but I generally leave the switch in the middle

The seat memory is not locked to the profile or the fob. You must push the button on the door to change drivers seat position.
Actually I've found it is linked. When I change profile, it adjusts the mirrors and seat. The issue I have is the profile I use was originally my wifes, so when I set this, it adjusts to her

I have yet to find an easy, fix for this. The way we are dealing with it is, whoever is driving when we power on the car, select correct profile. Wait for the console screen to show the change...wait several seconds, then select the 1 or 2 on the drivers door. You must wait several seconds or it will just change back to the previously used profile.
