Idle Stop and Go Suddenly Started Working

I purchased from the dealer a used 2021 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy in July of 2023 that had only 12,000 miles on it. Idle Stop and Go never worked, and I loved it. I live in Phoenix and I don’t want my engine shutting off at stoplights when it is 118 degrees outside. I want the full force of the AC.
My Palisade now has 40,000 miles on it. Last week my battery died and I put in a new one myself. Ever since the new battery was installed, idle stop and go is working. I hate it. Yes, I can push the button to deactivate but it is an annoyance for this OCD driver, to push another button every time I start it.

Why is it suddenly working. Any easy way to permanently deactivate this feature?

Putting in the new battery fixed the issue as once a battery falls to a certain voltage the feature stops working. The new battery reactivated the feature when they disconnected the old battery. Also having the A/C on full deactivates the feature as certain requirements must be met for the feature to operate, it's all in the manual.

Thanks, but I doubt my battery was bad when I purchased it from the dealer in July 2023 with just 12,000 miles on it. ISG wasn’t working then. The battery failed at 40,000 miles which is when I replaced it.
I just discovered a product to stop ISG and I’m now wondering if previous owner installed an auto stop eliminator from autostopeliminator.com . I am now sort of answering my own question but I may need to just reprogram it as shown in their videos. I’ll report back

What Mr P is saying is 100% correct
There are many prerequisites including certain battery level, etc

My stop and go quit working. Everything else seemed fine. Dealer did various troubleshooting then tested the battery with whatever they use and it failed certain tests. They replaced it and ISG started working.
