What did raw materials cost to do this overhaul? It sounds like you did this all yourself. Any idea what it would cost to get this professionally done as I have no experience doing this stuff?
Audio Control lc 5/1300 Amp $600
Audio Control DM 810 DSP $500
Audio Control ACM 4/300 Amp $350
Focal Flax Evo 3way component speakers $900
Focal mid bass woofers for rear fill $450
Kicker Q series 10" subwoofer $280
Sub box $85
Wire, fuses, connectors, etc $400
Sound deadening material $200
mini dsp rta fequency analyzer mic $120

Have done it all myself so far. I'm still not done. I have new A pillar trim pieces being delivered to mount the mid range speakers. Will be attempting to build pillar speaker pods.
youtube channels I have watched to learn and have asked questions: 5 star car stereo and pssound mainly.

I would imagine a shop would charge 3-5k for install

What would be the most important thing to change in the OEM system for the best sound improvement if you could pick one upgrade?
My main reason for starting the project was the door panel rattle. The doors rattle quite a bit. If you change out the door speakers and sound deaden, you would be surprised. You could do that for under $500 quite easily. That's where I started then fell down the rabbit hole.

Marklegcs ... question. Do these locations that Crutchfield shows for 2020+ Palisade with HK system mate/match up with the 2023? Find what fits your car - Crutchfield Looks like there is a component setup in the front doors 3/4" to 1.5" tweeters in the upper door, 6.5" speakers in the lower door (Front) then a single 4" woofer type speaker in the center dash? Rear doors appear to have the same setup as fronts ....then there are the rear panels on each side, which look like factory woofers ... 8" ? Did you remove and replace those rear woofers with regular speakers, then put your new 10" sub in a regular truck box, or custom box? where are you putting that? Do you think that you could upgrade the two rear woofers with say 8" - 700w Max Power, Dual 2W Voice Coil, Rubber Surround - Shallow Mount Sub woofers? If not, and would probably sound as bad as factory woofers, not having the proper enclosures ... where are you putting your 10"? I fly out to go get my Palisade on Saturday, so I haven't been able to scope it out yet .... Thanks in advance! (Oh also, where did you mount your amps and your dsp)?

So the door woofer will accept a 6.75 or 6.5 with no issues. Crutchfield supplies the ring. The factory tweeter pods will accept a 3/4" tweeter with a little work and hot glue. The flax evo tweeter is 40mm and required cutting a hole in the sail panel. I have them in temp now and will be building up a pod to direct the tweeter more on axis. I put a 4" Hertz DCX-1003 in the center channel for now, will upgrade to a flax evo soon. It fits on one mounting hole but needs a custom bracket to fit both mounting points. The 2 speakers in the back, I took off line but they are tiny 3" speakers. I may add some back there at some point but would just cause problems with a good front stage. I took out the factory 8" subwoofer, planned to mount the amps there but soon abandoned that idea and place everything in the storage well. I'm in the process of building the beaty panels to make it nice and neat. I wanted to sort all the wiring and placements first. The 10" sub is in a .75 cf box at th4e moment, doesn't take up too much space but will be coming up with a solution to mount permanently ( I use the back in up and down position depending on if I'm picking up my grandkids) I need to be able to move it back and forth at moment but it's quite easy to do in one minute.
Couple of things to note, there is no room to run very many wires in the traditional rail in the Calligraphy, it's already full of wires. I started with 1/0 wire and had to switch to running two 4 gauge, one down both sides and it was tricky. The component set in the front doors is wired active from the factory. You can't just tap the mid bass wire, put in a crossover and go. There are no high frequencies going to that speaker, you have to splice in both. The rear doors are full range with a crossover built in.

Havent gone quite as "all-out" as you have, but I've added:

Ground Zero GZCF 6.5SPL's to all 4 doors,
Metra 72-7302 Harness adapters. They plug into the factory speaker harness negating having to cut and splice.

AudioControl D-4.800 4 Channel DSP Matrix Amplifier
Rockford Fosgate R2-500X1 Amp (for sub)
Jl Audio 10W3 Subwoofer in an enclosed box
Associated wiring and harnesses and fuses

All tuned via RTA. Amazing difference.

Awesome, the modern DSP is amazing. I'm using Tidal premium for sound, try that. Makes everything come alive.

wow, as my ears unblock today ... (blocked from flying in to pickup Palisade and drive home) I'm really kind of un-impressed with the HK sound system. IMO, my factory system in my old Ford Fiesta ST sounded better. I'll be looking into doing something here in the near future. thanks for all the info guys.

Has anyone found a method to boost or replace the antenna to get better radio reception? My f250 gets clearer stations and it’s antenna is broken
Depending on which software version you have, the latest one has settings that messes with radio sound quality. If you have the latest, try fiddling with that. If you don't, update the software.

Crutchfield just specified this equipment for me. $370.64. He stated that the system has enough power and the issue is the speakers. Sound correct?

Crutchfields thinking as follows:

The Infinity speakers should have a much higher sensitivity so they can get you more volume and detail than the factory system. Replacing all 8 of those door speakers should liven things up and then the rest of the system will come in to fill the rest of it so it should balance out just fine.
