thanks!You're missing the fact that dealers don't pay the invoice price. They pay less. It depends on the dealer. For example, a dealer that hits their sales targets and moves a lot of volume will pay a cheaper price than other dealers. There's also something called dealer holdback, where they get money back from the manufacturer.
Basically, imagine that invoice is like MSRP for dealers: they don't actually pay that.
