How easy is it to add remove options

Looking at the limited, there are a few options. When I look at the vehicles online at various dealers, it seems that they are priced with a specific handful of options. This is after all the limited that has just a few options to start with. Seems like the options are easy on easy off kinds of things so if it shows certain options can I have them removed and have my own options added.
One example would be the $150 cargo tray. I have been using weathertech cargo trays for every SUV i have owned. They are cheaper and very high quality and they are American made. So if that is an option will the dealer pull it out and add options I do want like wheel locks or whatever.

Yes, that should be possible. These are not called "options". They are called "port-installed accessories". The difference is that options need to be built into the car at the factory, whereas accessories can be installed after the fact at the port of entry or by a dealer. For example, the SEL has optional packages (and also the accessories). The Limited does not have any optional packages. So there should be no problem with adding the accessories you want. As to removing the accessories you don't want, ask, but honestly, I wouldn't bother. It's a few bucks compared to the total cost of the car, and the dealer may not want to end up with spare accessories in stock. Up to you, but I would just take what it comes with and request the additional ones you want. That's what we did.
Dealers told me I could not remove any of the “port installed accessories.”
The "options" listed on my Palisade Limited AWD were included in the MSRP and not removable by the dealer. Did I get "options" I will probably never use such as the $30 first aid kit, yes. Did this stop me from purchasing this excellent vehicle at a price below the competition, no. I would gladly purchase this vehicle again.
Remember that is a way for the dealer to make a profit, as they mostly get 50% of the price in their pocket
The only sure way to avoid the add-ons you don't want is to custom order the car and specify the exact add-ons you want. It will be built to your spec. However, it will take 4-5 months.
