Adaptive headlights have been illegal in the U.S. because of a 1967 law requiring all U.S. equipped cars to have a separate low and high beam. The Infrastructure Bill that was passed in November 2021 has now allowed adaptive headlights but we now have to wait on the DOT to come up with new laws regulating them which will probably take a few years.I suspect the 2025 models will have ”adaptive“ LED lights which have been in use in Europe for years.
