Hi folks,

I picked up my limited palisade tonight. On the way home, I noticed that the gas pedal shakes/vibrates as I step on the gas or keep my foot on the pedal. I don't recall the experience while I was test driving non-limited palisade a few weeks ago. The only explanation I can think of is the one I test drove is 18 inch tires, whereas mine is 20 inch and that could cause more road vibration felt through the gas pedal. I called the dealer to explain and they said they haven't heard any complains on it.

Anyone experience/notice it?

Hi, give it a few days and let the car and new tyres settle a bit. My wife felt vibration at low speeds on the first couple of days.. she described the accelerator as being rough.. however that issue disappeared once we put a few miles in and the ride is very smooth now. Let us know what you find

I've felt some vibrations/shakes in the gas pedal too, but only when driving over some bumps in the road. It almost feels like feedback to your foot that "hey, we're going over some bumps on the road." We'll see if this persists as I get more miles on it; I'm still under 100 miles.

I don’t have any issues with my limited, but I’m wondering could it be associated with what mode you are in (sport vs comfort or maybe something else that you can adjust on the vehicle)? There are so many buttons you can push to adjust the drive, maybe you could play around with that a bit, if you haven’t already, to see if that affects your drive. I noticed a lot of difference in the touchiness of the gas and breaking based on what mode I put it in. I have FWD. Not sure if that matters vs AWD.

Hello
Yes I have been experiencing the same thing. I have an SEL with the 20” wheels AWD. I took it back to the dealer to have it looked at. They drove it and acknowledged the issue. Then they drove another one on the lot and it had the same vibration in the gas pedal. They said it’s probably “normal.”

I’ve had mine for almost three weeks. This is very annoying and i am thinking about possibly trading mine in for something else. I am not happy. I wrote the dealer management about the issue and also Hyundai Motor Co.

I believe i'm feeling something similar in my SEL with 20's and 1800 miles. Any acceleration from a stop begins with a slight shudder until about 5mph then it goes away until I stop again. I will play with other modes to see if anything changes.

A similar problem has been reported on the Telluride forum as well. It so far has been reported by the AWD owners, most notably in the SX trim, at 60-75 mph. They’ve had their wheels aligned and tires balanced, and it has not helped. Given the fact that the Palisade and Telluride share engines and transmissions, I was wondering if the Palisade would experience the same thing.

New owner here. Bought my limited awd back in november with october production month so it is not included on thr TSB. Iv been feeling the vibration on the floorboard, gas pedal and break pedal. Took it to dealership and they said they dont feel anything. They had 2 mechanic drove it and both saying the same thing. You can really notice it when you lift fit off the pedal and put it back and feel the vibration while driving. It is annoying as hell! My 2007 honda odyssey and my wifes genesis g70 doesnt have it.

I started experiencing this. I thought it was just the road but it's not. I have an SEL with the 20" rim. I'm thinking if that is the case based on the above posts. I dont get a chance to drive at high speed much so I cant really test the vibration at high speed but I definitely feel the light vibration at low speed.

Got about 700 miles on the car only. I thought I had too much air in the tires but I released some air and it reads about 35 psi and I still feel the slight vibration. The manufactured date of the vehicle is Oct 12.

Anyway, I sent this complaint to Hyundai and hopefully they will do a recall.

So, i took it to 2 dealership and both stated its normal. But its driving me crazy. I felt it when the service manager drive the car and im in the passenger side. I got the wheel balanced and still there. Next in line would be the brakes and the rotors. After that ill check the driveshaft.

I Bought Palisade calligraphy this week, I could sense the Pedal vibrations as wells as the body vibration at low speeds and the break on the snow is making a weird noise. can anyone help to solve the issue
Do you feel the vibration on the left footrest also?
It must be the floor board that is doing the vibration
because there is no physical connection to the gas pedal
years ago it would have a mechanical linkage today they
only have a couple of electrical wires. there is just a variable
resister, rheostat, with wires. no physical connection to the engine

I just bought a 2022 Limited Palisade w/20” tires and I can feel the vibration on the accelerator pedal, brakes feel fine. It’s just like others said, feels like road bumps and not engine vibration per se. Makes sense that it would be something between the floor board and the pedal as it’s all electrical now. Please let us all now if you have found a fix.

I bought 2022 Palisade Calligraphy in April. Gas Pedal vibrates too. Out of all these threads, the only thing I found was Replacing the Transmission Assembly. Is this accurate? First available appointment at my dealer is 8/2/22 (waiting).

I have kind of dismissed the gas pedal vibration thing as .. "how can that be possible". But over the last few days have felt a high frequency vibration in/on the gas pedal as well. Seems very intermittent, lasting a few seconds and repeating a few times. I would compare it too feeling a flow of high pressure liquid in a hose.
Strange..

After 2 days of waiting, the service person stated he put 2 technicians on it and he drove it himself. Nobody felt anything in the pedal. However, when picking it up another service advisor stated she would drive it and only commented how it's normal. Then she invalidated herself by only comparing to cars she owned that were not digitally controlled. Anyways, she felt it, but stated it's a normal feeling.

If you put your foot on the floor board (under the brake pedal), you'll feel the vibration there as well at the same time. You won't feel it as much on the left side floorboard.

Essentially, it's documented at the dealership. I've owned quite a few cars and never felt something like this so I know it's an issue. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait till something happens before they'll address it.
