Factory Hitch Install on my XRT

Just finished the install of a factory OEM Telluride hitch on my 2023 Palisade XRT. Turned out even better than expected. Still waiting for my Hyundai wiring harness from Parts Pro in Canada. I had to trim the removable panel which was the hardest part. Made a cardboard template then transfered
Vehicle Light Hood Car Automotive lighting

Hood Bumper Trigger Vehicle Air gun

Automotive tire Hood Automotive lighting Automotive design Vehicle

Tire Wheel Automotive tail & brake light Grille Vehicle

to the panel and cut with a jigsaw. I think this is the intent of a factory hitch….not to look like it was added as an after thought.

I call the dealer where I bought my 2023 Palisade yesterday. They said that their latest information was it. The hitch and the wiring harness were going to be available on April. They know that's wrong and they're trying to get answers again. After that call , I called Hyundai America. Had them send me to customer service and told them that the vehicle won't do what I wanted it to do because the vehicle was bought for towing. Having owned it since September 2022, they've had more than enough time to solve the issue. I said I wanted them to take it back. Surprisingly, without argument or comment they initiated a process of buying back the vehicle from me. Don't know where this is going or whether they're going to make a realistic offer, but I'm going to step forward through the process and keep folks up to date on what actually happens. It's sad. I really like this vehicle. But I want a vehicle that I can tow with and this isn't it.
U-Haul installed their wiring harness for $215. I bought a hitch on etrailer for $200, and my local mechanic installed it for $135. That, plus a $10 bracket to hold the socket and its $560 and I'm done. BTW this is a 4-wire harness. And, it looks great.

Please let us know. Same situation as you.
See my post about interaction with Hyundai customer service(?) about harness.
There are 3rd party hitches out there. Curt is one mfg. eTrailer.com has the Curt and their own version. I bought the etrailer version. Looks exactly like the Curt, a different finish.
Thank you!
Did you review this whole post and see the pics and write up for the hitch I installed? There is a removeable panel put it does not hide the hitch like one would think. If you would like it completely hid, research the internet on a Stealth hitch.
I will check it out. Thanks.

I asked them to buy it back and they said no, 2023 Pali Cali. I have an open case with the better business bureau BBB. I was told that I could always trade it in for something that meets my needs.
Has anyone tried the Curt 7 blade harness
