They called again today and I spoke to the rep. She confirmed the fix has been published/pushed for everyone.

Might have to do the Daylight Savings trick and reboot the head unit, or maybe you have to add the second driver and then hit the link button, or maybe it is just fixed and 2020 folks just have to hit the link profile button on the website or app.

I suspect it will just start working for most

Since you have a 2020 SEL, does your Palisade have any packages?
Do you have navigation with Blue link, and active?
Yes I have all the packages and they're all active. I'm just not seeing some of the screens that have been shown.
I did add a second driver to see if that made a difference.

I just checked and I still don't have the ability to add an Avatar to my account on the webpage. As someone had stated earlier, I can add a photo to the phone app, but it doesn't transfer to anything else (it just shows on the phone app).

And you have chosen BlueLink as the source of your avatar in the actual head unit in the car?

Well just link your account! :)

Wonder what triggers the changes. Does 1.) an update happen with settings on the head, which triggers the website to change or does 2.) the website changes triggering the updates on the radio.
If you haven’t tried the daylight savings trick, maybe now is a good time just in case 1.) is the scenario.

Yeah, my head unit says to link my blue link account to the phone app

Isn’t that already done??? I can communicate with the car using my phone app just fine

On the website it has my car, and I am listed as driver 1

But no option to add an avatar on MyHyundai

I contacted Hyundai Blue Link several times on this issue and they created a Case #. They called me Monday and left a message that the Engineers had fixed the issues with the last update. We took a trip from south FL to Jacksonville and the location sent to vehicle posted on Driver 1 Profile. So that part of the update issue is fixed. Since I.m on the road, I haven't checked other issues...except the current weather issue. I understand the weather is now using HD Radio. I opened the HD Radio app and it provides a Radar for your location, but says weather is not available. Nothing shows on the Navigation screen. Any thoughts or suggestions?

call customer service and start a case on your problem. mnsoft told me I couldn't pair the myhyundai blue link to driver1 on app or the web page. They said only hyundai blue link could do it.
Appears some of us who complained and got a case number had our link connected to the car

Did the install today. Took about 20 minutes to download and 30-35 minutes to install for some reason. A big change from the old triple screen look but wasn't a fan of that anyways. Usually ended up using 2/3 of the screen for nav and 1/3 radio. Who needs to see the weather that much lol
Hey,

do the profiles show up the images for you - the BlueLink webpage image , also I’m not sure if the Canadian side has it for us. I am a 2021 Palisade Caligraphy - Pierson ...updates all done - BlueLink working with app - Profile only shows the stock images.

The weather does not come from the HD signal; that is incorrect. Weather comes from Hyundai BlueLink connected services...cell phone modem.

You might need to toggle Daylight Savings time off, turn off the car and radio completely and then turn back on and toggle the Daylight savings back on.

Hilariously (or not), while I was fiddling with the linked profile issue, I decided to hit “reconfigure modem.” The Bluelink weather immediately stopped working. Waited for awhile, drove, turned the car off—still no BlueLink weather. Tried the “Daylight Savings” toggle trick multiple times. Still no weather.

Luckily, I still had my USB with the revised files mapnsoft sent me after the first time I upgraded to the “Blue” operating system from November 23 and it broke my BlueLink weather (this happened with an earlier update, too). I did a reinstall of the Nov 23 OS with the revised files and my BlueLink weather returned.

So now I know
1) Don’t hit “reconfigure modem” again unless I don’t want the dash weather and hud images and
2) My only option for the BlueLink profile link is to open a trouble ticket and complain until they update my webportal to reflect the correct iteration.

I think its strange that “reconfigure modem” stops my weather from working but apparently this doesn’t happen to all users.

In the meantime it might help folks with the weather problem to open a discussion about it on the mapnsoft site forums.

I tried to reinstall the 14.10 update when I had a problem.
14.10 update would not allow me to reinstall update.
I had downloaded the update. not sure what the difference is if you purchase the update

I downloaded the original update. After I discovered my weather issue, I opened a ticket with Mapnsoft. I worked with a Mapnsoft specialist over email for a few days. He eventually sent me a link to download new files. I was instructed to copy them to my USB stick. After that, I was able to reinstall. Only works for the weather, not the profile issue.

To "Reconnect a User Profile to an Account", please call the following customer care to link either BlueLink, Connected Services, or UVO account to a profile:

  • Hyundai BlueLink: (855) 225-8354
  • Genesis Connected Services: (844) 340-9741
  • KIA UVO: (800) 333-4542
Please request to "Reconnect User Profile to Account".
This is not the same as activating an account on the head unit*.
The customer cannot use the mobile app or online access to reconnect their profile to an account.

*Customer care will not see anything wrong on the customer account if they already enrolled.

Just got off the phone with them and they have no idea what to do. Maybe I got the wrong agent. They referred me back to the dealership. Obvious flaw in the latest update.
