Hi everyone.

When switching between the different drive modes, what is it actually doing? The only one that is noticeable is sport. The RPM’s are higher. But what do the other drive modes do?

Thanks

See the attached exported pages from the US manual. Includes both 2WD and AWD configurations.

The suspension is not adaptive, so don't expect any of the modes to change the suspension feel.

They adjust the steering effort (tight/loose), throttle response (dampened/quick), shift points (early/late), and the traction control system for snow mode. The manual explains it pretty well.

Hi folks. Followup question. I'm wondering which drive mode would be most fuel efficient for towing an 1800 lb trailer, mostly on interstates at around 100 km/hr. Tried eco and was getting above 18 L/100km albeit in northern latitudes. Tried Smart and I'm getting about 15 L/100. Normal hwy is about 8 L/100with no trailer . So these towing fuel consumption rates are high IMHO. Any advice much appreciated!
