Yes it is the setup, I have mine set when you press park all doors unlock.Agree - thanks Palisade Pete. Curious - is there another setting to have all of the doors unlock when you put the vehicle in park and get out? It seems like my Palisade unlocks the drivers door, but not the rear doors. I tend to keep my work backpack on the back seat, so every day I park, get out, and try to open the rear door. It's locked, so then I have to either dig out the keys and unlock, or open the front door back up to unlock the rear. I've messed with the settings and can't seem to find something that handles this?
Thanks!
In my case I was alone in the car.I had that issue with my Genesis G90. If someone touches a door handle before I turn the engine off, doors don't open right. Of course that is in the G90
Thank you - I think you are right that it sort of randomly works. I was convinced that I made the adjustment and had it working based on this thread, but then the next day I got out and the rear door was locked again. I'll have to pay very close attention to what I do in the times it works vs. when it doesn't!In my case I was alone in the car.
I “think” I have determined the inconsistency. If/when I turn off the vehicle “before” putting it in park only the drivers door unlocks. A bit of a bad habit perhaps left over from previous vehicles where you shut off the engine and left it in gear.Unless there is something wrong with your Palisade, there is no problem with the door lock/unlock function.
It is all controlled in the menu, and you have to set it to how you want it to function
