2021 Palisade Limited and center console is blistering/wrinkling. Any others have same issue? No chemicals are used to clean interior. Dealer is giving pushback

I agree that this does not look like a manufacturer issue. Even a couple of the switches, a completely different part, is affected. Someone may have used an aggressive solvent to remove a stain.

Wow that looks awful, I'm sorry. Did you by any chance take it to a car wash that maybe you never used before? And if so might they have used a harsh chemical while cleaning the interior? please keep us posted.

That is from a solvent for sure. The wrinkling is from the solvent getting under the coating and lifting it.

As others said, it's obvious that it is caused by chemical solvent.

To OP: Did you see/know this when you purchased the vehicle? If not, it's not the dealer's fault to push back.

It’s from hand sanitizer. Everyone drenches their hands in the stuff. Basically alcohol. Ruins the finish on most plastics.

Thank god when I splattered a mountain dew baja blast slushy it didn’t do that. Made some buttons super sticky. Luckily it wasn’t hard to disassemble and clean.
