The cargo net is complicated. I had to look it up. On the package is a qr code that you can scan for the directions. Don't make sense because it says you can install it vertically and horizontal. Don't know why someone would install it horizontal.Good feedback and very much appreciated. Mine came with the cargo net. Haven't use it yet as I have to figure out how to install it. A little complicated for me. LOL. I think I will hold for now in the screen and will reconsider purchasing when we make our first roadtrip.
These photos aren't our cars specifically, but you can get the idea --The cargo net is complicated. I had to look it up. On the package is a qr code that you can scan for the directions. I think the cover was originally designed for the bench seat. I noted that the shade can be put in one of two places, the most rearward allowing for a bit further recline of the Captain's Chairs. I also noted that there appears to be storage for the shade in the underfloor compartment but I couldn't seem to get it there. Maybe there is a trick to putting it on a certain angle?Mine came with my palisade and it really is the worst design. They should've had a spot to put it up with the 3rd row seats up as well. Also the cargo net would've been better if you could use it vertically right behind the 2nd row so whatever you had under the screen wouldn't slide between the captain chairs.
The horizontal feature is what I like best. In minor traffic incidents, breaking hard, re-correcting, etc. it should keep your cargo from flying everywhere, in between the captain chairs or even flying up and hitting passengers. Not sure of its crash test rating. I'm actually looking for a higher rated one so whatever cargo I have doesn't become a projectile to my kids and other passengers. Objects can hit the back of the seat and still cause fatal injuries, even objects we consider light in normal circumstances. The cargo net is complicated. I had to look it up.
