Looks like I’m the last one in this thread who is still waiting.

Got a second email from Hyundai Auto Canada yesterday saying it’s on the ship 🚢

I’m curious how long does it usually take to get to Canada? Is there any ways to track it?

Also wondering if any of you guys managed to get a window sticker? Looks like available online tools aren’t working.
If you were told exactly when it shipped by the dealer (not the automatic email), it would work better, but you can use VesselFinder to see if there's any incoming 'Vehicle Carrier' type boats from Korea coming to the two major ports in BC.

I got a call from the dealer on Tuesday that the palisade is ready for pick up.

ordered on May 31, 2022. Last email from Hyundai Canada was on Feb 14 that the vehicle had been shipped on Feb 7.

Trm: Caligraphy.
Seems like many of us who ordered in April/May are getting our vehicles in Q1 '23 (Jan to March).

Note that the switchover to the 2024 Model Year is imminent (end of April) so the factory is pushing out MY 2023.

I've ordered another Pallisade, this time in Moonlight colour and Calligraphy trim as a 2024 model year. Expecting that to arrive in 9 months.

So my dealer in the GVA got 3 or 4 Palisade "LE"s. Apparently to kind of try and mitigate the chip shortage situation Hyundai built a new trim that isn't really advertised anywhere. It's like base base base model. Turn the key, manual trunk, cloth seats, etc. I had it for a loaner for a few weeks, and I could see its merit if someone wanted a no frills version for cheap.

Did your dealer actually make the 2024 order online with Hyundai or just put down your name for when the order portal officially opens?

Put my name down for when the portal officially opens.

My take: I suspect many of those who ordered after October are not going to get the 2023 Model Year. They will get bumped to 2024 Model Year. The same thing happened last year as those that had ordered in Feb '22 expecting to get their 2022 model year ended up getting 2023 model year in September '22. This in turn delayed those of us who ordered in April '22 when the portal opened.

How much are they asking for LE version?

Anybody get roof racks? Which model did you go with?
We traded in my wife’s 2017 Tucson for the Palisade and I had a pair of Thule Wingbar Evo roof racks from the Tucson that I pulled off before turning the car in to the dealership. Sure enough they fit on the Palisade beautifully. The roof mounts are exactly the same between the two vehicles but just a bit further apart. The racks were adjustable enough to accommodate the extra width of the Palisade. When I bought the racks back in 2018 or so I was told they were interchangeable with the Santa Fe as well. Really happy I don’t have to invest in another set of expensive racks.

Thank you bud! Just noticed your message. Looks like mine is on this one:
It left Ulsan on March 11th and I got the following message:
Exciting news! As of March 6, 2023, your 2023 HyundaiPalisade, 3.8L Ultimate Calligraphy AWD 7-Pass, HYPER WHITE has been shipped from Factory. Please note that there may be further updates to your status that the dealer may contact you about.

I wish I'd seen this thread before I rejected to buy a black Caligraphy (which they had in stock) and decided to order a white one back in October. The reason I made that decision, is they said it was a 12-week waiting time and "it's getting better". They even put the black one on hold before I decide which way I want to go... it's 12 weeks passed and I'm #1040 😱 The Hyundai Canada email states production time is 2nd quarter 2023 😳

Your wait time is not as bad as some of us, who had ordered back in April and were promised delivery by end of October at the latest. LOL.

Where are you located?

My order is in Nova Scotia. Reading others’ timelines I realize that mine is not that bad. My waiting time is going to be around 6 month I assume. I hope there is no missing parts or any other obstacles. Still, I had a chance to have it next date after I made my order. I‘ve been been thinking about this a lot! LOL..

That was the right ship! The dealership now sees my Palisade's status changed to "in the port". Now it's not clear how long will it take to bring it to Nova Scotia. The ETA from Hyundai Canada is the end of April. Not sure if this really takes that long...
