I experienced an issue that I've been able to sometimes reproduce in which the video feed from the backup (rear) camera has a bad video signal, this results in a jumpy (glitch) video and lines appearing on the touchscreen display.

When first noticed, I happened to have my phone in hand and took a video of it.

Hyundai Palisade backup camera signal issue

Have any of you experienced this issue??

Sorry you all are going through these issues. There are 62 TSB’s you can search through according to Car Complaints.com.

No there aren’t 62 TSBs for the Palisade. A lot of them are procedural or instructional in nature and cover multiple vehicles. Use nhtsa.org for TSBs, not car complaints, which is just a scraper of nhtsa’s website anyway and could modify the info without you knowing.

But there is indeed a TSB for the blind spot monitoring malfunctioning (though not the video specifically, but others have reported it fixes it).

It surely isn't normal. I haven't been able to reproduce it consistently, I could show a video of it to the Service Center, but I am unsure of what they would actually do.

I have the same problem, I just received a 2020 Palisade Limited 5 days ago, this is normal?
NO that is not normal. Take it to the dealership and be sure to show them the video
If they don't correct the problem, call customer service and request assistance with
getting this corrected.

So I took it to the dealer, they checked the camera, apparently messing around with the camera solved the problem. A connection maybe, but they ordered a new camera just in case. They installed the new camera and now the problem is back...... Going back to the dealer today.

Wow. Now I'm really curious. Like I had said earlier, I can't consistently reproduce the issue. But I did see it happen again 2 days ago.
I was asked to take a survey from. Hyundai about the vehicle. I specifically noted this issue and I caused my video link and the wind noise.

I am back from the dealer, they ordered a new cable connection. Part # 91650-S8050 Desc: Wiring Assy-Tail. Meanwhile, they did something with the cable to fix it for now until the new part arrives.

My Palisade has been in and out of the shop four times with this issue (a malfunctioning rear video). They fix it but within a few weeks the video has black lines across it and then a week more and the screen goes blue.

Has anyone had success in permanently resolving the issue?

Have you called the customer service number in the owners manual?
Start a ticket on getting it fixed
You might try taking it to a different dealership
