My Palisade pretty much sorted itself out with Auto Stop/Start. It hasn't actually engaged in at least a year and a half or more. There's a massive list of parameters that it has to meet in order for it to work and apparently it doesn't like something. No complaints! It's a massively annoying and dangerous feature. Yes, dangerous! I got the device for my Subaru installed on day 1 of ownership and it's been turned off permanently ever since. On a Boxer (flat 4) engine it's a fairly rough restart and any gas saving it would ever accomplish is thoroughly offset by my right foot. Annoying, dangerous, stupid.

If you ISG has not engaged in more then a year then it's because the battery doesn't meet the minimum standard and the battery sensor is deactivated.
