My '23 calligraphy will be here tomorrow as I understand it... excited!

1. Dealer told me to get weathertech floor mats... haven't ordered yet as not clear on the difference with their two options. Has anyone bought these? Evidentially there is one that is a harder stiff plastic, and a new one that is more of a heavy rubber?????

2. Dealer offered united states warranty company interior/exterior protection using liquid diamond. It was reasonable however i passed given i could not find much information on it (I pictured a kid working part time wiping stuff on and for 20 minutes work charging me 700 bucks).

3. I want the new trailer hitch however not avail until October.

Not sure what else there is... other than putting in a semi truck air horn to scare folks (ok... i always wanted to do that ever since i was a kid lol).

I would PASS on the dealer interior/exterior protection stuff....... just a HUGE profit center for the dealer. I ceramic coated our Palisade as well as our C8 Corvette with Adams Graphene Ceramic Coating. Goes on super easy. Wipes off just as easy. Last 7 to 9 years. I've used it on 4 vehicles now. VERY HAPPY customer. Bugs come off very easily too.

Our '22 Calligraphy had the Hyundai all weather floor mats for all three rows. My neighbor bought WeatherTech for their Santa Fe, as they are die hard WeatherTech folks, and part of the instructions for the rear part was to take scissors and "cut to fit"..... what's with that ??? There goes your turned up lip to hold any spilled liquid.

Speaking of WeatherTech, you might want their Splash Guards, as the factory ones are TOO SMALL and don't cover the size of the tires.

I also added a matching, diamond pattern center console armrest pad. Looks better than the smooth leather cover.

As far as floor mats, I have always had WeatherTech. For a vehicle as nice as a 2023 Palisade I went with TuxMat for my wife’s 2023 XRT. Great custom fit and they look like they belong in a luxury car. Didn’t think WeatherTech would do it justice.

So what you are referring to, I believe, is a floor mat versus a floor liner. The floor liner is a more durable plastic that is raised on all sides to create a "tray" essentially. I had these in my previous vehicle (Ford Edge) and they were fantastic. The floor mats are more of the heavier-duty rubber that are cheaper in price and seems like more available too. However, you lose that "tray" feature which, for a lot of people, is a much better option. I would get the liners for my Palisade but I'm not ready to spend the money when the regular Hyundai all-weather floor-mats are working just fine.

Definitely skip this. It is a major scam that just pads their numbers since you can most likely do a better job yourself at a MUCH cheaper cost. Loads of different options out there and YouTube is your friend when trying to decide which route to go.

For other things to consider: a good, durable sun-shade for the windshield; a center-console tray organizer to utilize the space more efficiently; window vent visors (rain guards) to allow you to crack the windows safely; rubberized, foldable rear cargo trunk mat

I was informed by my dealer that the new trailer hitch would cost about 930 dollars installed and that the hitch would not be available till October. Contacted the local U haul and was given a price of around $430 installed. They do have one that will fit the 2023 Palisade.

One thing I neglected to mention was I was offered the extended warranty (bumper to bumper for the full 100k)... said no and didn't ask the cost as i don't plan on keeping the vehicle more than a few years given how rapidly the tech is evolving.

The armrest cover slides on and is basically the same width and length as the factory one. It adds about 1.5" to 1.75" of height (thickness) to the armrest pad, which is a good thing for me as it seems like a much more natural height to set my arm down.

I saw 3D Maxpider all weather mats on this forum and was sold... Luxurious. They are scheduled to be delivered September 28th. They also have matching cargo mat which covers the backs of the third row.
Some people on here said the weathertechs are hard to keep clean and they discolored.

Has anyone found a console cover that matches the leather pattern redesign for 2023 calligraphy’s? I love the diamond pattern when it matches the diamond pattern on the 2022 and earlier seats :) but now I feel like it needs a smooth or arrow pattern to match the 2023 redesign. Thanks!

I got this in black - looks better in person than it does in the pictures.

I was always a Weathertech snob, but I found a set of "Used Like New" Maxpiders on Amazon for $156 for my 7 seat Cali - they were literally new. Even at full price, they are very nice and don't have that industrial look or feel of most others. 3-year warranty. If the front wears out, I'll just buy another set.
