I just wanted to weigh in about my Hyundai experiences. My wife and I have owned 80+ cars in our 48 years of marriage.

We went to a Hyundai dealership in 2024 and were blown away by the wonderful interior. Bought it on the spot. Drove it 28.000 miles. No issues. One of the absolute best cars out of all we have had.

My wife saw the 2026 Palisade Calligraphy and loved it. Went to the same dealership and bought it. We have had it for a month and driven it almost 2000 miles. No issues. HUGE improvement over the 2024 which we loved. It is amazingly quiet. Better in every way, so far.

The luxury features amazing. Power seats all three rows. Who’d thunk it. Just wanted to share.

I wish I could get my wife on board for a 2026. I love the new look. Not as wild about the interior. She's right in the sense we just turned over 10000 miles on our 2024 Calligraphy. But the new body style is right on.

We really like our 2024! Took it to Yellowstone from the Oregon coast several of months ago. Ran flawlessly.

Good to hear the first 2 comments I see here from new 2026 Palisade owners are positive. I got mine two weeks ago and am loving it so far. I bought the first edition of the Genesis GV80 Prestige with 3.5 engine in 2021 and bought this latest Palisade Calligraphy as our second car. Some good stuff from the GV80 migrated over to the Palisade and the new Palisade has some stuff the GV80 doesn’t (even at the top trim). For example the Palisade Calligraphy comes with a built in Dashcam and Digital Rearview Mirror that can switch operations with the normal typical mirror that is still there. The ride of the Palisade Calligraphy with 21” wheels is significantly smoother IMO than the GV80 with 22” wheels. The Palisade Napa Leather seats are also more comfortable than the Napa Leather seats in my GV80. I believe the new Palisade overall is the best value for a car that costs less than a luxury class vehicle yet offers most of the amenities. The design of the outside and inside are classy and well thought out. It’s extremely roomy. I know beauty is in the beholder but I think it’s a great looking SUV inside and out. The only thing that I feel could have been better in the new Palisade is to have had a bit of a stronger engine. I have a feeling that the Hybrid version predicted to come out in November, may become even more popular as it will have significantly more pep as well as much better gas mileage. Despite that, I bought the non-Hybrid anyway because I wanted a more basic engine with the belief that the simpler ICE engine may be more reliable than a newly designed hybrid engine. That may or may not prove to be true. Time will tell. In the meantime I get an early start in enjoying everything this SUV does really well. In my book, Hyundai has two great 2026 Palisade choices that really stand out. They’re both winners!

This will be the case on any 21 v 22 wheel if the OD of the tire is the same. Thinner sidewalls usually means a stiffer ride. If you really want to improve it - go to some 19s or 18s (providing it clears the caliper)

Sounds great. Hopefully by the time the Hybrid hits the dealer, the 15% tariff will not be applied for others - maybe by Hyundai taking some or all of the hit in cost). So far the sticker price on the 2026 window has not been exceeded on the ICE model, however, Hyundai dealerships are already minimizing their costs via other strategies, where previously free services after purchase are no longer free.

Great to know 😊 Thank you! I have a 2023 and love it!

Would echo your comments. I owned a 2023 Palisade Calligraphy and loved it, but traded for a 2026 which has Bluetooth Car Play instead of the wired Car Play in the 2023. Also the 2026 comes with a factory instaled front and rear dash cam with great resolution. Better seats are a bonus. This car has all the luxury components found on other cars costing $20,000 more.

Is it a service contract to cover things like oil changes and routine maintenance? Sometimes those are decent in that give you a discounted service costs. Just extrapolate the cost of the contract over how many times you expect to use the services. If it’s a warranty contract, ABSOLUTELY NOT! You already have the strongest warranty on any vehicle.

That totally depends on how long you intend to keep the vehicle. If you are the type of person who gets a new vehicle every 3-5 years and don't put 60K miles on it in that time then the extended warranty is not worth it. However, if you keep a vehicle for 10 years or use high mileage then the extended warranty is definitely worth it. If the dealer is offering the extended warranty for more then $1500 then reject it and call Crystal at Burlington Hyundai for the best price around.
