Finally had my radio replaced after almost 4 months. It was frustrating waiting on the delivery without open communication from the dealer.

I finally got attention from weekly calls to corporate. I am grateful that I will have it for our next road trip.
There’s probably a 99% chance it didn’t even need to be replaced. Just needed to install the bugfix update of the October 2022 navigation system update released in mid-February. That has worked for everyone I’ve seen so far, including several in this thread.

They tried some kind of software update, but it didn't work. 🤫

Based on the posts you made on this thread, I think the updates you tried were from before the actual fix was available. The fix wasn’t out until about Feb 10 or so.

I guess you could be correct about that update solving it. Lol I actually had my vehicle in on the 9th for oil service. I guess they chose not to try it at that time. It certainly would have saved additional time on my part without a working radio; not to mention the expense of Hyundai to replace it.

2023 Palisade Calligraphy with 5,000 miles had the same issue. The screen when blank on and for a few days then the radio stopped working. When I pushed radio it stayed on the same channel and couldn’t connect to SXM. Took it the dealer and they ordered a new radio. I found this forum and ordered the 02/2023 software and map updater and it worked like a charm. Completely resolved. The dealer argued that this would not resolve it.
Update- this software upgrade did resolve the problem but after a week the screen went completely blank. Stayed that that for several days and then reappeared. Went blank the following day. Dealer is now ordering a new radio.

Usually if the screen is blank or acting funny, all you need to do is do a reset with the pinhole by the tuning knob. Did you do that?

So, I went through an ordeal. Mid January, 10 days into ownership, the radio went blank. Reset button didn't work, disconnecting battery didn't work. 7 weeks later it was discovered that the DC-DC Converter, which powers the accessory circuit, was dying (but not dead). They replaced the module and I finally have my car back. It was like the 6th thing HYTAC recommended to try, hence the lengthy time, but just putting it out here for future reference should anyone need it.

Thank goodness for this thread!! We were on a trip to the Smoky's and our radio stopped working properly. It was stuck on one Sirius channel and we couldn't change the radio band or stations. RADIO button didn't work at all. We were able to get in through Media but it was just frozen and played one station. Luckily we could still stream over bluetooth and carplay because we had a 900 mile drive home.

Today I checked for any updates on Navigation Updater but it still says my current version is the current one. I was happy to come across this thread and find that I should try the latest update anyways and indeed the actual version listed in the vehicle software was updated to the 230203 version. This resolved our issues with the radio app and everything is back to normal.
