2023 Palisade infotainment mode Stuck

My 2023 Palisade had a new issue pop up today. It started off with the SXM showing as processing and the slide out to the right of the screen blinking on and off. I ended up selecting other inputs to see if anything would show up and Sounds of Nature unfortunately worked and now it is stuck there. After approximately 3 resets and resetting the Battery I decided to reinstall the software update from earlier this month thinking it would help. No success. Still on sounds of nature and will not change. Anyone seen this issue or anything like it? I’m assuming a trip to the dealer is in my future

Did you happen to use CarPlay or the Android equivalent that utilizes the USB A in the center console?
Try leaving the battery disconnected for an hour.
I had that happen. Radio not working. Stuck with Sirius preparing. Did all the resets. Can get music by selecting MAP button then radio on the slide out. Can change channels with the seek and track button but nothing else. Was just in dealer. They have seen this. Ordered a new head unit. I have found other people with this problem and that was their solution also. So I would say a trip to the dealer is in your future. I have been wondering what kind of hardware problem it has when this thing is mostly software driven.

Yes, CarPlay works with the USB.

Figured as much. Have an appointment scheduled for Thursday. Thanks for the response!
We had a similar experience, determined that CarPlay was not shutdown properly and the infotainment system wouldn’t play anything but CarPlay. We had to reconnect CarPlay and disconnect from it properly, then all other infotainment systems resumed working.

What do you mean by disconnect from it properly? I have never heard of such before.

Please describe the correct way to disconect Android auto. All I do is pull the USB from my phone.
I do the same as you…. Never knew there was a “correct” way…

Just turn the radio or XM on before you pull the plug, otherwise you may get stuck in USB mode like I was.
Have the same issue with my 2022 Santa Fe Calligraphy. Have an appointment scheduled for this Saturday
Urgh same problem here with my 2020 Limited. Tried resets, leaving battery unplugged for an hour. Guess it's back to the dealer I go!
I have been waiting on a new head unit for mine. Just downloaded and installed the latest update and the radio seems to be working properly now. I was informed the new part is on the way but may forgo the installation if it is working. It did say the current audio update was already installed should it be reinstalled and I said yes. But problem could have been in other system software that was installed.

That is interesting. I will try that approach and see if it works.

UPDATE Re-Installed the current s/w version and Radio is working! Even after re-downloading the current version, choose to re-install on the head unit. It is definitely worth the try.

I downloaded the software and re-installed the same version on the car. Even if the message states that it is the same, do you want to proceed, choose yes. My radio now works as it is supposed to. I had to choose my presets again but that is a minor inconvenience.

This exact thing happened to me. I noticed it a few minutes after leaving the Hyundai Service Department. My 2020 Palisade was getting the tow harness recall work completed. The battery was disconnected and reconnected during the repair. It is unknown whether this contributed to the radio malfunction. The dealership service technician factory reset the software, which did not resolve the problem. The technician also disconnected and reconnected the battery, but the malfunction persisted. A new radio was ordered and installed, and everything is normal now. Sirius XM wanted to charge me $15 to transfer my subscription to the new radio, but with minor pushback, they waived the fee.
