Sorry, Canadian dealers are on my list to investigate but... no time to look at it for next two weeks.
Did you pull up another vehicle at the dealership and change the VIN # in the URL, or is there another trick?I was able to pull up window stickers for quite a lot of VINs. It seems they Hyundai have opened it up now
Yes, basically that. Any dealer should work.Did you pull up another vehicle at the dealership and change the VIN # in the URL, or is there another trick?

Perhaps Portland?Does anyone know what PORT OF ENTRY: PT on the window sticker stands for ?
apparently you can custom order, it just doesn’t work like it does here with us and other car manufacturers.Too bad those of us in the USA can't custom order one

That's what's annoying is that different dealers seems to say different things. The most common thing I have been told from them is that Hyundai builds what they want, and when a dealer puts in an "order" for something, then when time comes for allocations to be done, to be assigned to each dealer, etc. if a dealer has an "order" for a specific build/trim/color, etc. then that vehicle gets allocated to that dealership. Of course if say only 5 are built that way and you are number 6, then you will end up waiting longer.apparently you can custom order, it just doesn’t work like it does here with us and other car manufacturers.
the factory apparently allocates x number of trims to the dealer. The dealer can customize them according to a customers wants. But the dealer can’t just order whatever, whenever. At least that’s how my dealer explained it.
I have a printout from my dealership and it showsNo official definition, however people think they mean:
AA: At Sea
PA: Port Arrived
TN: Transport Ready
IR: IN Route
DS: Dealer Stock
This is probably what my dealer means. He just didn’t explain it exactly that way, because what you are saying is very similar just not exactly matching. It’s definitely more in the hands of the manufacturer. Where as ford and gm literally let you customize your vehicle and “have it your way” like Burger King. That's what's annoying is that different dealers seems to say different things. Hope that makes sense, but that is how 3 dealerships had explained it to me, how their ordering works. I "lucked out" in that the second closest dealership to me already showed on their list a 2023 Calligraphy, AWD (being in Florida, most allocations are not AWD), Gray, light interior, so I put a deposit down on it right away! Only thing I am not 100% positive on is their sheet just shows MA - In Production on it, no VIN. Verses others that show AA - At Sea (allocated). He did tell me that from what that sheet shows, its almost always under 90 days away to them.
this was great info, thanks for sharing...I have a bad case of "want it now"...Hey folks, here's what I know of from an inventory standpoint for 2023 Palisades:
Known 2023 Palisade Vehicles In Transit
No guarantees on accuracy or availability - but hopefully this helps you decide which dealers to contact.
Updated to include Calligraphy, Limited, SEL, XRT, and LE in AWD and FWD variations.
