I noticed a drop in the 8 year extended warranty for the 2023 Hyundai Palisade in Hyundai Canada website. Back last year in August when I'd ordered, I remember the F & I guy trying to upsell me the advantages of the extended warranty, the 8 year 160,000M was retailing for about $4346 CAD plus taxes, he'd told me he'll be willing to go down to $3646 plus provincial taxes with $100 deductible, a good $700 off. I think this is for the Premium Plus Plan, though which is no longer available.
The current listed price for 8 year/160,000KM is $3099 but this is for Premium Plan, the most expensive plan listed; the other plan is Powertrain. Get this, the lowest price is $2633 for 6 year/120,000KM, which is crazy as the cost margin is so small, it would be a no-brainer to go for the 8 year one!
I was initally going to skip the Warranty but at this attractive rate I am, for sure, going to snag one.
Anyone know if the current Premium plan has the same coverage as the old Premium Plus plan?
I wonder if further discounts can be had. Anyone recently taking delivery being able to make more deals on this? Is the dealer offering lower numbers without asking?
