2022 Hyundai Palisade Limited Rear Sun Shade Replacement

Has anybody received a faulty sunroof or rear sun shade when purchasing their Palisade?

My rear sun shade did not work on delivery and now is in the process of being replaced.

The rear sun shade is for the rear moonroof that doesn't open. It's made of cloth material.

It's at the service center now and the whole headliner has to be removed in order to replace the part.

Thoughts?

I had a faulty rear sunshade cover on my '21 Limited occur shortly after delivery. Dealer traced the issue to a loose connector in the wiring of the sunshade (behind the B-pillar if I recall correctly). Luckily they did not have to remove the entire headliner.

Good luck on yours; not awesome to have that level of work required right after delivery; the dealer should be able to make it right.

They replaced the faulty part and it’s still not working right. They will call Hyundai to see why it’s still not working.
The cloth material hangs down when it opens instead of pulling straight back.
